Fees & Polices

You may be wondering about the cost of services and how you will pay for it. All services at HJCC are self pay, which means we do not bill your insurance directly. When you pay out-of-pocket for your counseling, there are several benefits.

Privacy: Your privacy will be assured because nothing is reported to your insurance company. Consequently, you will not have a mental health diagnosis show up on your insurance records. 

Flexibility: You can see the counselor you want to see whether or not they accept your insurance. Also, you and your counselor decide how many sessions you need as oppose to having a predetermined number of sessions set by your insurance company. 


Initial 15 Minute Consultation: FREE

Individual Counseling

  • Initial 90 Minute Assessment: $175

  • 50 minute Session: $150

  • 90 minute Session: $200

Couples/Family Counseling

  • Initial 90 Minute Assessment: $175

  • 50 Minute Session: $150

  • 90 Minute Session: $200 

Inner Healing Prayer: $150 

No Shows/Cancellations with less than 24 hour notice: $50

Accepted forms of payment include, cash, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.

All payments must be made prior to services being rendered. 



Currently, HJCC does not accept insurance. However, we will be more than happy to provide you with a form to request reimbursement for out-of-network services from your insurance company.

If seeking reimbursement, please check the terms of your coverage carefully. Here are a few guiding questions to help you: 

  • Do I have mental health insurance benefits?

  • What is my deductible and has it been met?

  • How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?

  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session for out-of-network providers?

  • Is approval required from my primary care physician?

Please note that most insurance companies will not cover marriage counseling; some do not provide mental health insurance; and others do not provide out-of-network reimbursement.
